Code inspection
Separate reading the code from measuring its quality.
A reader can decode a symbol under one set of conditions. A verifier measures symbol quality under specified conditions. Neither activity alone proves that the code contains the right batch or that a failed package has left the conveyor. Define these jobs separately when designing the inspection station.
The barcode verification guide helps build a record that includes the sample, measurement conditions and content comparison. Use it to connect an offline quality report with the inline presence check and reject confirmation, while retaining the limits of sampling.
